MORE MILK® SPECIAL BLEND

More Milk® Special Blend is a goat’s rue-based herbal blend to optimize breast milk production. This formula was first formulated at the request of lactation consultants to support mothers on their breastfeeding journeys.

DESCRIPTION

Every mama is different and sometimes we just need that little bit more. More Milk® Special Blend combines five organic herbs that work as hard as you do—goat’s rue, fenugreek, blessed thistle, nettle, and fennel.

More Milk® Special Blend is formulated for moms who:

  • Didn’t increase in breast size during pregnancy
  • Delivered prematurely
  • Plan to relactate or adoptive feed

INGREDIENTS

Goat’s rue herb*, fenugreek seed*, blessed thistle herb*, nettle leaf*, fennel seed*, sunflower lecithin, vegetable cellulose, medium-chain triglycerides.

*USDA Certified Organic ingredients

NO: soy, milk, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, peanuts, wheat, gluten or animal proteins.

Products are routinely tested for heavy metals and microbial contamination.

SUGGESTED USE

Take 1 capsule, 4 to 6 times throughout the day, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.

Since goat’s rue helps support the development of breast tissue, please allow two to three weeks of consistent use to see results. While goat’s rue is working in the background, the remaining four herbs generally work more quickly to support lactation.

Not for use during pregnancy. Discuss product use with a healthcare professional before use.

Note: Fenugreek is a highly (and commonly) recommended herb to quickly increase breast milk supply.  However as with all food substances, certain individuals may have adverse reactions, especially if using larger than recommended dosage. The following are possible side effects. Discontinue use if adverse side effects appear.

Fenugreek, especially if taken in larger-than-recommended doses, can cause gastric upset or gassiness in the mother, and less likely, in the baby. In More Milk Plus®, Motherlove blends fenugreek with fennel, a digestive aid, to help counteract this possible side effect. Fenugreek is not recommended for those with hypothyroidism who are on medication, as it may block the absorption of the thyroid medication. In rare cases, fenugreek can also lower blood sugar and cause breakthrough menstrual bleeding.
